Volunteer Role: Hot Meal Plating

Assist our professional kitchen staff with plating hot meals into sealed trays for same-day delivery. Volunteers will work on a production line, using utensils to portion and serve meal components.

Dress Code & Safety Requirements Hairnet required; beard net required if applicable
Long pants and a t-shirt with regular sleeves are required Aprons will be providedComfortable, non-revealing, warehouse-appropriate clothing is requiredClosed-toe, non-slip shoes are mandatory for safety; tennis shoes are highly recommended No sandals or flip-flops, No extremely short skirts, shorts, or dresses, No low-cut shirts Physical & Environmental Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Some lifting and bending may be required Primarily stationary work while serving food Volunteers may be exposed to food allergens and cleaning chemicals At the end of the shift, all volunteers are expected to participate in cleaning the work area Additional Information Volunteer placements are subject to availability. Volunteer Role

Help deliver Emergency Food Meals to individuals with special dietary needs.

Helping Clean the Warehouse and Other Areas

Volunteers may assist with:

Cleaning areas throughout the warehouse and facility Picking up trash Cleaning bathrooms Working outdoors Using cleaning chemicals as neededAge Requirements: Volunteers must be at least 18 years old Additional Information: Volunteer placements are subject to availability. Sorting & Packing of Dry Food and Non-Food Donations

Physical & Environment Requirements Ability to lift 20+ pounds Comfortable working in a warehouse environment Ability to stand and be on your feet for extended periods of time Closed-toe shoes are required; tennis shoes are highly recommended Comfortable, non-revealing, warehouse-appropriate clothing No sandals, flip-flops, extremely short skirts, shorts, dresses, or low-cut shirts Volunteers may be exposed to food allergens and cleaning chemicals Age Requirements Volunteers must be at least 8 years old and have adult supervision Volunteers 16 years and older may participate without adult supervision Court-ordered or school-ordered volunteering may have additional requirements.
