Help deliver Emergency Food Meals to individuals with special dietary needs. Physical & Environmental Requirements Must provide your own vehicle (hatchback, SUV, or truck required) Ability to lift up to 40 pounds Ability to follow driving directions and/or use GPS Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required Must be comfortable working in all Florida weather conditions May be required to walk up flights of stairs while making deliveries Volunteers may be exposed to food allergens and cleaning chemicalsClosed-toe shoes are required; tennis shoes reccommendedComfortable, non-revealing, warehouse appropriate clothingNo sandals, flip-flops, extremely short skirts, shorts, dresses, or low-cut shirts Age Requirements Volunteers must be 18 years or older Additional Information Volunteer placements are subject to availability.Volunteers will pick up boxes from main facility Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.Email Jeff Turnbow at jturnbow@tcfoodbank.org & Mike Thompson at mthompson@tcfoodbank.orgProgram: Mobile Distributions Volunteer Role
