Volunteer Role
Help deliver Emergency Food Meals to individuals with special dietary needs.
Physical & Environmental Requirements
- Must provide your own vehicle (hatchback, SUV, or truck required)
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to follow driving directions and/or use GPS
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance required
- Must be comfortable working in all Florida weather conditions
- May be required to walk up flights of stairs while making deliveries
- Volunteers may be exposed to food allergens and cleaning chemicals
- Closed-toe shoes are required; tennis shoes reccommended
- Comfortable, non-revealing, warehouse appropriate clothing
- No sandals, flip-flops, extremely short skirts, shorts, dresses, or low-cut shirts
Age Requirements
- Volunteers must be 18 years or older
Additional Information
- Volunteer placements are subject to availability.
- Volunteers will pick up boxes from main facility
- Please arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled start time.
